Along with writing and photography, music is one of my key creative outlets. Raised by a musician mother, I learned to treasure the beauty of carefully crafted music. Like high art, every granular piece, when intentionally placed, can sculpt sound into visceral, compelling movements of the heart. Music is an act of adoration for me; as such, my goal has always been to create lasting monuments of love.
Old Solar is one such project.
Together with two creative conspirators in Raleigh, NC, we compose, produce and record music to pronounce beauty and reveal it to the world.
SEE, is a full-length concept record focusing on a top-down view of the spinning earth, its beauty and how creation revels at the character and work of its Creator.
Quiet Prayers [Redux] is our most recent release; it is an EP consisting of totally reworked original pieces to reflect the two additional compositional voices added to the group since the original EP’s release.
